Prior to attending Samford, Haylee Davis graduated from Southwest Christian School, in Fort Worth, Texas. While there, she served as the Student Council Treasurer, Student Council Vice President, National Honor Society Secretary, as well as Chaplain. Haylee was a student ambassador. She traveled the world spreading God’s word and love to all that she encountered. She was also the captain of the Women’s Basketball Team and Women’s Cross Country Team; she led them to victory with back-to-back State Championships!   Haylee is a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she volunteered at Vacation Bible School, Lord’s Acre, and Church Outside the Walls. She was a member of the Conference Council on Youth Ministries where she helped further the Methodist youth involvement in Texas. Haylee enjoys traveling, going overseas for mission trips, gardening, and fiddling. Some of her favorite memories from high school are the mission trips to South Africa, Brazil, and Ethiopia. Haylee loves learning about the various subjects in school. However, she also loves learning all she can about new places, cultures, and people. Her goal is to finish her undergraduate studies in Exercise Science, followed by Physical Therapy school. Upon completion, she hopes to use physical therapy as a means for missionary work by providing physical therapy to those that would otherwise have no resources to obtain physical therapy and to spread the Word of God to others.  Service Placement: Cornerstone Schools of Alabama www.csalabama.org

Prior to coming to Samford, Landon founded a non-profit student service organization, Bless Blairsville.  He is a University of Georgia Merit Scholar, Crosland Scholar and a Lipscomb University Summer Scholar graduate.    In high school, he was a two-time All-Region basketball player, straight A student with a 98.87 unweighted GPA, Georgia recipient of the Kiwanis Hayden SLP Student Leadership Award and a Junior Board member for United Community Bank.     While attending Samford, Landon intends to study Public Administration along with earning a minor in Social Entrepreneurship. Prior to attending Samford University, Jordyn attended Metro Christian Academy. At Metro, she had leadership roles in student council, National Honor Society, Metro praise and worship, and the cheerleading team. She enjoyed being apart of Tulsa K-Life where she was able to participate in a bible study of girls her own age and also lead a group of 6th grade girls. Her senior year, Jordyn was president of her chapter of the National Charity League where she was able to get involved with local philanthropies and learn how to serve a community. Jordyn attended Kanakuk summer camps for 10 years and plans to continue her time there as staff during her college years. Before coming to Samford, Cate Rivers graduated with honors from Corinth High School, where she was an active member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta and Interact Club. She served as a Student Council Representative and was selected as a member of the 2022 Corinth High School Hall of Fame. During her high school career, she served with Homework Club, a local ministry that focused on helping kids from low-income communities with their schoolwork. She was also an active member of her church, working in children’s ministry for over four years. Cate Rivers also enjoyed playing tennis and performing with her high school’s theater department. At Samford, Cate Rivers plans to study Biology on the Pre-Optometry track with a minor in Spanish. Before attending Samford University, Jenna was a member of the National Honor Society, Quill and Scroll Society, National Spanish Honor Society, and National Art Honor Society. She was an AP Scholar with Honor, a part of Student Government, a member of Key Club and Book Club, Vice President of Multicultural Awareness Club, the Poetry Editor for the international “Notes From the Underground” literary magazine, and a counselor at the children’s aftercare program at Maclay School. She was also very involved in her church through its youth choir. While at Samford, Jenna is studying Law, Politics, and Society. Following graduation, Jenna hopes to attend Law School then either go on to pursue a Doctorate degree or enter the field of law. While in high school, she was heavily involved in ContainIt, a program that builds tiny houses and converts shipping containers into housing for those in need. Through her work in ContainIt, Katie found a passion for serving others which led her to join Micah Fellows. While attending Samford, Katie plans to study Business Management. After graduation, Katie aspires to earn her Master degree in Business Administration and then use her degrees to work with non-profit organizations or focus on project management.

At Samford, Claire plans to study Human Development and Family Science with a fast track program to earn her Master in Clinical Social Work. Caroline Hardy was a honor roll student and member of Mu Alpha Theta and the French honor society. A life-long soccer player, she played varsity soccer team, culminating in a state championship her junior year. Additionally, she completed internships with the Scott Hamilton Cares Foundation and with a primary clinic in Guildford, England. In her free time, Caroline loves spending time with children and was a devoted nursery volunteer and babysitter. Caroline is a nursing major with plans to become an oncological nurse practitioner. During her senior year, she got an internship with a local non-profit called Thrive. There, she got to invest in middle schoolers in a neighborhood called Lonsdale. At Samford, Anna Lynn is studying Business Management. She wants to use her degree work for non-profits that uplift and empower the voices of others that are often overlooked in society. She was dedicated to her church’s youth group and served on the Outreach Committee of their Student Leadership Team. In her free time, Halli enjoyed being involved in her community and was on both service and philanthropic youth councils in addition to being a participant in the Leadership Mountain Brook program. While at Samford, Halli is studying Biochemistry with hopes to continue to medical school. Halli would like to someday become a doctor where she can apply what she will learn at Samford to uplift and assist patients through their medical journeys. Before coming to Samford, Lindsey spent three months serving abroad on an immersion trip in South Africa. Prior, she graduated early with honors from Walton High School as a Dean's List dual enrollment student at Kennesaw State University. Lindsey spent most of her time serving as a leader in the high school and middle school ministry programs at her church, leading small groups, retreats, and summer sessions. While attending Samford, Lindsey hopes to explore career paths within her Health Sciences major, currently planning to pursue a career as an Occupational Therapist. Before coming to Samford, Ashlyn graduated in the top 1% of her class from J.J. Pearce High School. Ashlyn was a Senior Drum Major of her 6A band, two year trombone section leader and primary trombone in the Wind Ensemble. She is an AP Scholar with distinction, Service Learning Medal recipient, Certified EKG Technician and Certified Patient Care Technician. Ashlyn enjoyed serving in the kids ministry at her church and as a summer missionary at Camp Barnabas, a camp for individuals with special needs. At Samford, Ashlyn plans to study Health Sciences with a concentration in Disability Studies. She plans to become a Pediatric Physician's Assistant and to work with kids with special needs. Pre-Professional Health Sciences Academy student at Parkway Central High School. Karina graduated with honors and earned a Distinguished Seal of Biliteracy in Russian. She is an active member at her church back in St. Louis, helping with childcare, Sunday school, youth worship team, community service, and student-led ministry. While at Samford, Karina will be studying Nursing in hopes of becoming a Pediatric Trauma Nurse. Through the Micah Fellows program, Karina hopes to gain knowledge and experience of service work, and make an impact on the Birmingham community. She served as Vice President and President of Thespian Troupe 8387 in her junior and senior year. She has been involved in worship leadership since 8th grade, and she plans to continue a mix of worship leadership, songwriting, and vocal performance through her major in Commercial Music, as well as her involvement with the Samford Worship Collective. Before joining the Micah Fellows program, Madi served in her high school’s National Honor Society, as Chaplain in National English Honor Society, and in Student Council. In addition, she created her own club “We Can Connect” to help high school students to “find their tribe”. While in high school, she also hit the 10 year milestone of her riding horses. Madi aspires to work for a news organization, such as National Geographic, to continue her love of reading, writing, and photography. Her favorite Bible verse is Isaiah 6:8, Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”.

Before coming to Samford, Eady graduated from the University School of Jackson with highest honors. Eady participated in and served in various leadership positions in her school’s Buddy Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Art Honor Society, and Spanish Club. She was very active in Young Life, and enjoyed spending her summers serving on work crew at a YL camp. Eady was active in Young Life Capernaum- which ministers to teens and young adults with disabilities. She was involved in starting her church’s “Belong” ministry, which works to build a faith-based community for adults with disabilities. Eady was a member of her school’s cross country and track teams for four years, and was active in her church’s youth group. Eady is studying Communication Sciences and Disorders, with the hopes of working in disability ministry one day.

While also in high school, she received the Page One English Award and graduated in the top ten percent of her high school class. At Samford, she intends to study Business; Grace plans to attend law school after graduation with a focus on intellectual property law.

While in high school, she also served for two years as the curator of the Ezekiel Academy football catalog. While attending Samford, Selah plans to study Biology and The Classics. After graduation, she aspires to attend law school and then use her degree to work with those who have been wronged by the medical field.

She was also a member of John Carroll's Heritage Panel chapter and ran indoor track & cross country. While attending Samford, Citlali plans to study Marketing with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Citlali plans to earn her master's degree in business administration and then use her degrees to work with social non-profits focused on providing support for the homeless and lower income population, specifically mothers and children.

Before coming to Samford, Olivia ran cross country and track at her high school, was Student Body Vice President of Student Council, a member of National Honors Society, and a section leader in her schools Honor Choir. As well, she was an AP Scholar with Distinction. Olivia was active in her youth group at Southpointe Community Church and on their student leadership team. She also was involved in SALT (Service and Leadership Training) at Camp Crestridge and later worked as a counselor there. While at Samford, Olivia is studying psychology with interest in development and hopes to work with kids in some way in the future!

Before attending Samford, Jadyn was Vice President of National Honor Society, an AP Scholar, and Captain of her high school's basketball and softball teams. While at Samford, Jadyn plans to study Psychology (BS) on the pre-health track. After graduation, Jadyn hopes to attend medical school to become a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) to work in pediatrics. She wants to use this degree to take medicine internationally through a Christian lens to places where children’s medicine is not widely available.

Additionally, Nathan was involved with serving the student ministry at his church. Here, he led the student worship team, helped at middle school summer camps, and served at other various youth events. While at Samford, Nathan is studying Computer Science. After graduating, Nathan plans to pursue a career in the cybersecurity industry.

Prior to attending Samford University, Ella was an AP Scholar with Honors and a recipient of the Stars & Stripes Award through American Heritage Girls, where she also served as a Girl Leader. She was a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club, and for two years, she contributed to varsity volleyball management at Greater Atlanta Christian School. In addition, Ella served as an academic aid and designed social media graphics for the athletic teams. At Samford, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with the goal of working in cardiology or the ICU after graduation.

At Samford, she is studying Law, Politics, and Society. After completing her undergraduates, Biak plans to attend law school and become a constitutional attorney.

While in high school, she also was a four year varsity volleyball player with 2 runner up state titles and an all region award. At Samford, Christina plans to complete the early assurance pharmacy program and earn a doctorate of pharmacy at Samford's McWhorter School of Pharmacy. After graduation, Christina intends on working as a hospital pharmacist and then eventually open her own compounding pharmacy.
