B. DeeAnn Dugan came to Samford University in 2008 to further her professional growth but has found she discovered so much more. "What I have found here is not only mentors to help foster the growth I was looking for, but also an intellectual community based upon faith, respect and family," she said. Dugan has served multiple professional organizations, including APhA, ACCP, AACP, APA, and ALSHP, in various roles such as committee member, committee chair, and delegate. Highlights of her service include serving as the Community Champion for APhA’s Project IMPACT: Diabetes, as well as a regional learning coach with HRSA’s Patient Safety and Clinical Pharmacy Services Collaborative for several years.
