Kathryn joined Samford University’s Marketing and Communications office in September 2025 as the marketing and communication coordinator. In this role, she supports campus-wide initiatives focused on strategic communication, branding and outreach.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Mississippi State University (2023) and she earned her Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communication from the University of Mississippi (2025).

During her academic journey, Kathryn gained hands-on experience as a student worker at both institutions. While at Ole Miss, she served as a graduate assistant in the Office of Campus Visit and Orientation, where she contributed to efforts aimed at engaging prospective students.

Kathryn has also built a strong foundation in the field through internships and roles with organizations such as Smithsonian Associates in Washington, D.C., and the Greater Starkville Development Partnership, among others.
