Alison Ingle joined Samford University in February 2024 as the marketing and communications manager for the College of Health Sciences, supporting the McWhorter School of Pharmacy and the School of Public Health.

A graduate of Auburn University Montgomery, she has experience in internal and external communications, integrated marketing strategies, website development, graphic design, social media, copywriting, media relations, event planning and branding.

Before joining Samford, she spent nine years as the director of communications for the Alabama Restaurant and Hospitality Association, overseeing media relations, email marketing, publications, social media, membership initiatives, event promotions and other projects. She played a crucial role in leading the Association's communication efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, managing media relations, assisting with advocacy projects and implementing relief efforts such as the Alabama Hospitality Workers Relief Fund in partnership with Charles Barkley.

She served as communications manager for the Alabama Housing Finance Authority for eight years where she promoted mortgage programs and affordable housing initiatives. Her team won a Silver Addy award for the redesign of the website, AHFA.com.

Early in her career, she collaborated with the Alabama State Attorney General's Office to create the "Your Good Name Gone Bad" campaign targeting online identity theft. Her statewide campaign materials received top honors from the Public Relations Council of Alabama.

She previously served as President of the Young Montgomerians Business Club and on the board of the Montgomery chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama. She resides in Alabaster with her husband Todd and daughters Autumn and Bryn.
