Kameron Brown, a Birmingham, Alabama native, began his career in marketing and communication at Auburn University, where he served as marketing assistant for the Office of Student Involvement. Active in student affairs, he was president of the Involvement Ambassadors and served on the Student Government Association’s communication board. He also worked as a peer instructor for the Exploratory Advising Program, helping students identify majors, connect with campus organizations and build community.

Brown brings several years of higher education marketing experience to his current role at Samford University. He previously served in Orlean Beeson School of Education, where he led the school’s marketing and communication efforts by raising the profile of its academic programs, showcasing student and faculty accomplishments and strengthening its brand presence. Under his leadership the school's annual digital publication, Leadership, Research & Innovation in Education, earned multiple Education Digital Marketing Awards. In 2025, he was promoted to serve as the marketing and communication manager for Samford’s School of the Arts.

He regularly volunteers with the Shelby Baptist Association’s Church and Community Ministries, where he helps fight food insecurity and leads mission projects across Shelby County.

He lives in Columbiana and is a member of Southcrest Baptist Church.
