In the cloud

Office 365 is a collection of services that allows you to collaborate and share your schoolwork. It’s available at no cost to Samford faculty, staff and students. The service includes Office Online (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote), 50 GB mailbox (employees only), 1 TB of cloud storage with “OneDrive for Business”, Copilot, Teams, and more.

On local computers and mobile devices

Samford’s agreement with Microsoft also allows full time employees and students to install the full Office applications on up to 4 personal devices for free. Logging into mySamford and click the Office 365 widget. Click the “Install apps” button. From the dropdown, choose “Install Microsoft 365 apps”.
Part time employees can access all the Office 365 apps from the web by logging into mySamford and clicking on the “Office 365” widget.
