Tanya Hollins, Ed.D. is an innovative operations leader with more than 30 years of business analysis and project management experience. She holds a Doctor of Education, specializing in Educational Leadership; Master’s in Business Administration; and Bachelor’s in Accounting. Dr. Hollins attributes completion of Samford University’s MBA program as a pivotal milestone in her career which accelerated her development as an effective and ethical leader. She enjoyed a progressive career in the accounting services industry. After which, she followed family tradition and her lifelong passion for learning to serve in the higher education sector. Dr. Hollins is the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Academy Program Manager, supporting the adoption and implementation of cloud technology education for institutions in North America. She has more than 12 years of higher education leadership experience including academic operations, accreditation compliance, faculty development, and learner engagement. Prior to joining AWS, Dr. Hollins served as Managing Director – Workforce Development for a public community college in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Hollins is committed to advancing the mission of higher education and fostering student preparation for in-demand careers.
