Dr. Betsy Holloway, Samford University’s Dwight Moody Beeson chair of business and associate professor of marketing, traveled to Reim, France, July 20-23 to present at the Academy of Marketing Science World Marketing Congress.
Holloway presented a research project titled, “Responding to Customers 'Gray' Requests: The Service Employee Dilemma,” with coauthors Dr. Sijun Wang from Loyola Marymount University and Dr. Sharon Beatty from the University of Alabama.
“This presentation highlighted the first phase (qualitative data) of an ongoing research project we have underway, and highlighted data we gathered last year in cooperation with two Alabama-based companies,” Holloway said.
Holloway is also a member of the Academy of Marketing Science, which promotes the advancement of marketing internationally through leadership and maintaining a level of excellence.
Holloway joined Samford’s faculty in 2002.
