The American Pharmacists Association-Academy of Student Pharmacists chapter at Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy, is partnering with Samford’s Cumberland School of Law to host the Inaugural Samford Healthcare Policy and Advocacy Forum.  The event is Wednesday, September 28th from 12-1 p.m.in the Wright Center.

Keynote speakers for this event include the Alabama Medicaid Commissioner, Dr. Bob Mullins, and Mr. Frazer Rolen, Federal Advocate for the Alabama Hospital Association.

The Forum will update students on important Healthcare topics as they relate to current politics on both a state and federal level.

This is a great opportunity for students and faculty to increase their political awareness from two very knowledgeable speakers.

Event planners expect up to 500 students in attendance.
