Samford University Theatre will present the musical High Society April 30-May 3. Adapted from the popular 1956 film, the production features brilliant Cole Porter songs, hilarious one-liners and farce comedy.

Lydia Myers, Jordan Bondurant and Harrison Chambers are cast in the roles of Tracy Lord, C.K. Dexter Haven and Mike Connor, played in the movie by Grace Kelly, Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra.

An orchestra accompanies the cast, which also includes Ryan Ford, Kathryn Francisco, Julia Gray, Cody Hays, Emily Hoppe, Jeremy Hunt and Jenny Wiggins. Samford theatre professor Mark Castle directs.

The story of a society wedding, based on the play The Philadelphia Story, features the Porter classics "Swell Party,' "Just One of Those Things," and "I Love Paris."
