The Samford University Film Club has announced its fall line-up of showings in the school’s Christenberry Planetarium, located in Propst Hall. The public is invited free of charge.
The schedule includes:
- Sept. 15 Big Fish
- Oct. 6 The Sting
- Oct. 13 The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
- Oct. 30 The Shining
- Nov. 10 Gattaca
- Nov. 17 Thelma and Louise
- Dec. 4 The Big Sleep
All movies start at 7 p.m., except for a TBA time for the Oct. 13 Jesse James film. Each movie will be introduced with comments related to style, impact, cast and production. Informal discussion will follow each film.
