Samford University’s Nov. 10 reception in Pensacola, Fla., has been postponed due to the approach of Hurricane Ida along the Florida/Alabama Gulf Coast.

David B. Goodwin, Samford’s director of alumni and parent programs, said the event would be rescheduled at a later date.
