Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity members won Sweepstakes honors for their show, “Timmy’s Big Adventure,” at Samford University’s Step Sing Saturday, Feb. 21. The fraternity also received the music achievement award and tied with Pi Kappa Phi for the “Revolution” award, given to the show that best followed this year’s theme.

Independent Ladies won first runner-up honors. Phi Mu won second runner-up and choreography achievement honors.

For the first time, audience votes on Thursday and Friday counted in the overall score. Top audience votes went to: Pi Kappa Phi, best overall and best music; Independent Ladies, best choreography; and Sigma Chi, best costumes.

Step Sing 2004 was the 54th year for the Samford tradition.
