Samford University’s Howard College of Arts and Sciences will host acclaimed author and scholar Karen Swallow Priorfor a special lecture, Writing and Vocation, on Monday, March 30, from 3–4 p.m. in Divinity Hall, Room N101.

This event will explore the intersection of writing, calling and purpose, offering students and faculty an opportunity to reflect on how storytelling, scholarship and creativity shape meaningful vocations. Prior, a widely respected voice in literature, faith and culture, brings a wealth of experience as an author, professor and public intellectual.

The event is open to all students, faculty and staff, and convocation credit will be offered.
