Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a college or university that holds institutional accreditation
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- International applicants must also score at least a 90 on the TOEFL or 6.5 on the IELTS

- Fall (August start date): July 1
- Spring (January start date): December 1
- Summer (May start date): May 1
Don't Forget
- Complete the application including the $35 application fee and your résumé
- Provide your official transcript(s) from all higher education institutions by emailing them to admission@samford.edu
- Submit a Statement of Purpose (see guidelines below)
- Submit two letters of recommendation (for MSEM applicants only; not required for certificate applicants)

Statement of Purpose
Please submit a Statement of Purpose as part of your application. Your statement of purpose should include information such as:
- A self-introduction
- What sparked your desire for graduate study
- Summary of your undergraduate and previous graduate studies
- Discuss the relevance of your recent and current activities
- Elaborate on your academic interests
- Indicate the area of your interests such as health, policy, conservation, consulting, etc.
- Work experience, especially if you have had any kind of responsibility similar to what you wish to study in graduate school; indicate what you’ve been doing—company or non-profit, your work/design team, responsibilities, and what you learned. You can also indicate how this will help you focus your graduate studies.
