The Most Reverend Dr. Buba Ali Lamido brings a powerful, first-hand witness to the reality of the persecuted church, shaped by decades of pastoral leadership in Nigeria. As bishop and later archbishop, he faithfully led amid violent opposition, enduring years of threats, forced hiding and ultimately retirement after being targeted by terrorists. His testimony reflects both the cost of discipleship and the resilience of the church, which continued to grow even under persecution. Drawing on deep theological training and lived experience, Archbishop Lamido speaks with clarity, courage and hope about Christ’s faithfulness to His suffering people. Come join us to hear Archbishop Lamido share stories over lunch.
