The French Consulate of Atlanta and Thélème International will sponsor a free workshop for Alabama French teachers at Samford Saturday, April 28.
The workshop, in Burns Hall 202/204, will begin at 10 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
Teacher and author Ghislaine Belloqc will lead the event with a special focus on “Art in the French Classroom”.
Belloqc taught for many years in France, Spain and Morocco, where she developed many arts workshops for children and adults. She currently focuses her research and creative efforts on the relationship between the visual arts and language instruction, and works to train teachers in this new approach to teaching and learning French.
Workshop participants will receive a certificate of participation.
