Psychology professor Sandra Willis has been selected to participate in the 2011-2012 class of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Geriatric Education Center’s Faculty Scholars Program. Willis, a health psychologist, will meet throughout this year with a team of medical professionals to discuss and research the unique medical needs of geriatric patients, especially those with advanced illnesses.
