Hosted by the Howard College of Arts and Sciences Neuroscience Program and the Samford Neuroscience Club, Brain Day is a free, family-friendly event designed to introduce community members of all ages to the science of the brain through hands-on activities and interactive learning opportunities.

Attendees will have the opportunity to explore how the brain works by participating in activities such as touching a real brain specimen, completing a neuroscience-themed scavenger hunt, and engaging with Samford students and faculty. Prizes will be available throughout the event.

Brain Day is part of a broader effort by Samford’s neuroscience program to promote scientific curiosity, education and community engagement by allowing participants to discover the brain and be a scientist for a day.
