Opera Birmingham, in partnership with Samford University School of the Arts, presents I Pagliacci and Cavalleria Rusticana, two powerful one‑act operas performed in one evening. Sung in Italian with English supertitles, these dramatic works explore themes of love, betrayal, and revenge through some of opera’s most moving and recognizable music. The production features professional artists, many who are Samford alumni, alongside Samford student performers and members of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra.
