As we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, come hear from Stewart McLaurin, president of the White House Historical Association. A past and favorite Legacy League guest, Stewart leads the association’s important non-partisan work to preserve and provide public access to the rich history of America’s Executive Mansion. The membership meeting will begin with refreshments and fellowship at 10:30 a.m., followed by the program, which will begin at 11:15 a.m. Save the date for now — reservations will open this fall.
Launched in 2011, Samford Legacy League’s Christmas Home Tour is a beloved holiday tradition in the Birmingham community and the organization’s largest fundraiser. Featuring several unique and beautifully appointed homes each year, the tour has raised over $500,000 to provide life-changing scholarships for students with significant financial need and challenging life circumstances. Mark your calendar, and plan to join us for our 16th annual tour. Ticket sales will open in early November.
