Bianca Fasanelli holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Samford University and is currently pursuing a graduate degree at Samford studying under Sharon Lawhon. During her undergraduate studies, she sang in both University Chorale and the Samford A Cappella Choir, along with performances of The Light in the Piazza (Signora Naccarelli), Amahl and the Night Visitors (principal dancer), and The Magic Flute (ensemble), and numerous opera scenes productions with Samford Opera. In 2024, she was the recipient of the Eva Clapp White Memorial Scholarship Award for Excellence in Vocal Performance at Samford University.

During the summer of 2023, Bianca studied at Opera Viva! in Verona, Italy, and returned the following summer to study Italian language and culture at Cultura Italiana in Bologna, Italy. During the summer of 2025, Bianca participated in the Lieder Studio at the prestigious American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, where she studied with Stephanie Weiss and Kenneth Griffiths and performed in a masterclass for Malcom Martineau.

In addition to teaching voice at the Samford Academy of the Arts, Bianca is also a rehearsal assistant at the Birmingham Girls Choir and sings soprano in the Schola Cantorum at St. Mark’s the Evangelist Catholic Church.
