Art for Children (Ages 6-8)

Students will learn about famous artists and their methods of creating art. We will work with paint, graphite, clay, paper and other mediums to create works of art.

Art for Home Schoolers (Ages 6-12)

Get ready for a colorful adventure through the world of art! In this fun and inspiring class, kids will explore the work of famous artists and create their own masterpieces. Along the way, we’ll learn about the building blocks of art—like color, shape, and texture—while experimenting with all kinds of materials and techniques. From painting and drawing to mixed-media surprises, every class is a chance to imagine, discover, and create something amazing. Whether you’re a budding Picasso or just love to make things, this class is the perfect place to grow your creativity and have fun doing it!

Students will focus on building their art portfolio. Students will hone their technical skills in drawing, painting, mixed media, sculpture and printmaking.

Unleash Your Creativity!

Whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or you’ve been creating for years, this class is designed to inspire artists of all levels. Each week, we’ll explore the essential elements of art in fun, hands-on ways—sketch with pencils and charcoal, dive into the bold world of acrylic painting, and even try your hand at basket making! With a variety of engaging materials and creative projects, there’s always something new to discover. Come ready to experiment, express yourself, and enjoy the journey of making art!

Pottery

Pottery: Hand-Building & Wheel-Throwing

Students will explore methods of hand-building, wheel-throwing, glazing and decorating pottery. This is a beginner class, but more experienced students may take the class. Students will purchase their own clay and basic tools but should wait to purchase clay until after the first class.

Stained Glass

Stained Glass: Copper Foil (Beginners)

Students will learn the basics of cutting and refining glass pieces to create a beautiful stained glass window. This is a class for beginners, but more experienced students who need a refresher course may take this class.

Stained Glass: Copper Foil (Intermediate)

Fall A course will instruct students in advanced copper-foil techniques, including pattern use and color choices, to create more complex pieces as suncatchers, small panels, and ornaments.

Students must have previous stained glass experience. Supplies included.
