What do you think is the BEST thing about Cumberland?

Cumberland is so accommodating to every student. If there is any problem that you can imagine a law student having, Cumberland has an immediate solution. When people say that it is a family here, they truly mean it!

Why did you choose Cumberland?

When I toured Cumberland, I immediately knew it was the school I wanted to attend. When I got the chance to talk to Cumberland students, I could tell that they felt so supported and uplifted at this school. It is so easy to feel at home at Cumberland because the faculty, staff, and students create a supportive environment.

What do you most enjoy about studying law in Birmingham? What do you like to do in Birmingham?

Birmingham has such a large legal community. This makes the networking opportunities endless! In Birmingham, I love to go to coffee shops and go to my favorite bookstore, The Little Professor. Birmingham has such a great culinary scene as well. One of my favorite restaurants is Slim's Pizzeria!

If you could give any advice to your pre-law school self, what would you say?

Don't be afraid to ask questions. I would also tell myself that finding the study method that is most beneficial to you could look completely different than someone else's method! Remember that these three years go by fast. Make the most of it and have fun!

What do you plan to do after graduation?

I plan to practice in Alabama. The type of law that I plan to practice is still undecided, but I am having fun exploring all the different areas and seeing what interests me most!
