Samford Athletics Hall of Fame Celebration – April 26
The 2025 class, the eighth in the Hall of Fame's history, consists of football's James Bradberry, track and field's Ashley Cope, basketballs' Joey Davenport, basketball's Bill Lankford, and the 1991 Football Team.
Samford Athletics’ S-Club Golf Tournament exists to connect former student-athletes with each other and with Samford. All gifts to our golf tournament go directly to the S-Club and are used to host S-Club events as well as support our 360 student-athletes.
The Samford Classic raises funds to benefit Samford's more than 350 student-athletes and 17 athletic teams. This is the eleventh-straight year the tournament has been sold out.
Participants in this event play on a championship golf course, network with area executives, receive first-class player gifts and compete for valuable prizes.
“Being a former athlete, I understand the levels of needed support in order to have a fruitful experience. I see being involved as a supporter as a prime opportunity to pay it forward by investing in today’s student-athletes.”
